Over the years Ducati has always been a trail blazer in the study of the aerodynamics required by motorcycles competing in the MotoGP championship. The wind tunnel tests are key to maximizing the balance between the cooling of the mechanical parts, the rolling resistance and the downforce levels. The side paneling of the fairings is specifically studied to generate front vertical force, therefore reducing the natural tendency of the vehicle to rear up in the acceleration phases and guaranteeing greater stability when braking.
